Roadside Assistance Card

I bought a Genuine Blur 150 in September, 2006. I got my Roadside Assistance Plan card last week, four months after my one-year Roadside Assistance Plan expired.

Other Genuine Scooter owners have also reported problems, including one owner who claims to have received ten cards. Thankfully my dealer gave me the phone number when I got my bike, and to date, I’ve never required roadside assistance, but it’s pretty embarrassing for Genuine, and it’s interesting that Piaggio had similar issues about a year ago. It appears both marques use the same roadside assistance provider, Florida-based RoadAmerica. Although the letter was (sloppily) printed on Genuine letterhead, it was mailed from RoadAmerica’s zip code.
