Newstoday.net reports that Bajaj Electricals reported the highest revenue and earnings in the company’s history, with a growth of 218 per cent. Maybe they finally manufactured the thousands of voltage regulators that have been backordered for US-market 4-stroke Chetaks. (That was a joke, I have no idea if Bajaj Electricals even manufactures scooter components.)

Years ago, when I spent a month traveling in India, I remember seeing the Bajaj logo on everything. Most conspicuously, they were on light fixtures and light bulbs, most fluorescent light bulbs. The other big family conglomerate was Tata. My sense though is that Bajaj Auto is pretty seperate from the other Bajaj entreprises in India. Although I’m sure they’d keep business within the family whenever possible.
