The LML Star (aka Genuine Stella) is back on the market in France and the Scooter Station interviewed the French importer (in French, here’s a translation). Interesting, especially the talk of the revival of the ACMA name.

Last week I got a bunch of India auto industry trade magazines. The magazines are really good becasue they report production figures for all of the major Indian players according to class (auto, motorcycle, scooter, three-wheeler) and engine size. The latest magazine I have was from November 07. In all the magazines and this latest one LML was still listed but the production figures were all “N/A.” So either they just started up and got some out of the factory asap or there was a small-batch production run built out of remaining parts done exclusively for export. My guess is that it is more the latter. I’d love to have a December magazine.
