For the record, that’s a Xingyue Euro 150, and I really doubt he’s getting that mileage. Their logo creeps me out for some reason, but I think that’s the only currently-available covered three-wheel scooter (Bajaj’s autorickshaws don’t really count) available in the U.S., if you’re into only getting your arms wet in the rain.
Probably made as well as other mainland China bikes (read: not well). But I would congratulate them for actually getting a 150cc, 2 wheels in the back-3 wheeler to market before the rest. I wouldn’t buy one, but I like it. Most of the time these never get further than prototypes from some design firm. It seems to tilt just like the Honda Gyro but it’s full sized.
Well, it was on display at DealerExpo two years ago, and this is the first I’ve seen of it since then. The one there looked pretty junky, and Phil said it actually looked like a Gyro clone:
