These changes will be happening in the next week or two, so you may notice some differences or temporarily missing links. We’re also pleased to announce a new addition to our staff, Bill Keenan (left) has been named to head up our Zombie Affairs department, he will handle any situations involving zombies as they relate to scooters. Welcome him to our staff!
Ween Rocks us 24/7
OK, no .mp3 per se today, but something more fulfilling. Ween has what you might call an online empire centered around chocodog.com, from which you can check out the many Ween sites, including ween.com and the mighty weenradio.com, which loops Ween’s entire oeuvre, 24/7. OK, if you really want an .mp3, check out their rejected Pizza Hut commercial.
The shot heard ’round Ukranian Village
The Strike is playing tonight at the Empty Bottle, they’ve been on hiatus for a while, and this is one of their first shows since the break. The Strike was one of the best bands around a few years ago, and we’re really happy to see them back. If you like the Clash and Stiff Little Fingers, and you don’t like George W. Bush, do yourself a big favor and check them out. Their old neighbors and frequent tour-mates Dillinger Four are also playing.

So dress up in your finest, um, new wave cowboy gear, and join us! Here’s the flyer that I made by myself: front | back

Go! Go! Vino Game
Ryan found a Vino game from 21Yamaha.com: “Play Go! Go! Vino and pretend you’re Deanna driving to work.” I’m holding out for the “pretend you’re Deanna and you have to sleep in the same bed with Ryan” game.
So you’re buying a scooter?
I get a lot of emails from people looking to buy their first scooter, usually people want to know specific answers to questions, or want to know which scooter they should buy, and I generally find myself telling them other things they hadn’t thought about, and they generally thank me for making them better-informed, rather than running away screaming. So I thought it might be a good idea to compile these thoughts into one post and share them with everyone, because what I say is so important. Ha!

ScootRS electronic ignition
Almost a year ago, I installed a ScootRS electronic ignition kit on my Vespa 150 (VBB), and promised a review. Well, it was a tightened-down clutch away from being finished for a year, but finally on Friday Mike Durso helped me finish the job and, well, it lives!
