Man, every time I buy new shoes (or get them free from Janel), new Geoff Rowley Vans come out. Now he’s got two models, the XLT, which is kinda like the old ones, and the Shams, complete with a little mod target. Sweet. But don’t get me wrong, I love these Simples. A whole lot. I almost don’t want to wear them, they’re so pretty.

For the two or three of you who cared about our “London Calling” debate, here’s Doors drummer John Densmore’s anti-sellout rant from The Nation, which was quoted in the Clash article.

I don’t know how you feel about German oi! disco, but Liquido’s new video for “Why Are You Leaving” features the most scooters in a music video since Fine Young Cannibals’ “Good Thing.” The song is catchy in a Len-meets-Elastica-meets-Angelic-Upstarts kinda way, and the webpage is very cool-looking, too. Thanks to Matt Seigel and The Regulars.

My boss embarrassed me by finding Steve’s Toy Motorscooters before I did. It’s butt-slow, though it’s worth the wait. I thought we had a lot of toy scooters here at 2SB HQ, but we don’t hold a candle to Steve.
