Peugeot/Derbi dealer Andiamo! Motorscooters has moved to a bigger, better space in the upscale Little 5 Points area of Atlanta. In other shop news, Ryetronics has moved from Ryan’s basement floor to a newly-constructed workbench, where he sits all day, ready to serve your wiring/ignition needs.

As Ann pointed out last week, the IPO starts this Friday here in Chicago. There’s some good stuff going on there, which isn’t surprising as there are something like 160 bands. Hey! M.O.T.O. are still around?

nh-scooters.com continues to interview people so I don’t have to: this time it’s Darby Gippert of Cycle World, importers of Peugeot scooters. They have 130 dealers? Have they sold 130 scooters? I have no idea how they’re getting these things past DOT, but they’re great scooters so I ain’t gonna say anything.

Bill made up some nifty scoot.net mechanic-style patches. Why not buy one? C’mon, after all he’s done for you? And speaking of scoot.net and patches, have you seen their patch gallery?

It’s about time. Lets see if it gets off the ground.

In Japan, the Ruckus is called the “Play Pocket Zoomer,” and on Honda’s Japanese site, you can practice wedging crap into the ‘play pocket,’ or better yet, custom-paint what little bodywork there is. Why do I want one of these so badly? Thanks to Racecar Bob for the link!

Scooterist Jeff Tudor’s band The Shifties are playing at the Tippling House (2843 N Halsted, Chicago) Friday night. Here are some $2 off coupons. Openers are Stone City Stragglers, Unique Chique is headlining. The Shifties will also appear at the International Pop Overthrow in June.

Speaking of Big Rye, here’s how he trains for MASS races. It’s a one meg file, but you’ll wait for hot Krispy Kremes, won’t you? The Oscar for best cinematography goes to Steve Olson, MD.

MASS hasn’t posted official results yet, but ‘Squadra Corse 2SBa and other Chicago racers totally dominated the stock class at Blackhawk Farms. Ryan Bastianelli (Moped Hospital) won both races (even beating the Specials racers) on his 70cc Kymco Super 9. 2SB racers Myk Rodriguez (second in both races,) and Matt DeVries (fourth and third, respectively) kicked butt on P-series Vespas and Mike Durso pulled a fourth and a fifth on his Vespa Smallframe. Tim “YoFatTim” Hugh (Moped Hospital) finished fifth in the first race, but DNF’ed the second on his Super 9. We’ll post official Stock results and the Specials results when they become available.
