CMSI of Seattle announced the opening of their Italian office in Desenzano. “The Desenzano offices of Lambretta USA will coordinate the Italian sourcing and Italian vendor relations.” Allright, great, let’s see the product already. Thanks for the tip, Al.

Bryan’s mom, Boyann, recently forwarded us an email containing info on Starbucks’ latest promotion. They’re giving away a Vespa trip for 2 to Italy. Because it’s Starbucks, you’re gonna have to pay to enter their contest.

I was disappointed to see only 3 scooters in the Rome Collector’s edition of Gourmet magazine (an ad, a cartoon, and an out of focus photo with the scooter way in the background). On closer inspection of the Target ad, I saw they’re giving away an ET2 in each store, plus one online. The drawing will be held “on or about May 19, 2003”. One drawback is that you’re going to receive Target emails. Once the contest is over and they’ve sent you an email confirming that you’ve won, remove yourself from the mailing list.

Our beloved Chicago Fire suffers another loss as mighty keeper Zach Thornton signs a
six-month deal with Benfica. I linked to SoccerAge because I liked how they called the Fire “Reigning MLS Champions.” We wish. Hopefully, “six months” means “Until Bossio returns, shortly after the MLS season starts.”

Matthew was apparently intrigued enough by the Adiva to look up the Benelli Moto website. I can’t beat “sufficiente” on the memory game, but I now know they have an importer in Georgia, so that’s good news. They don’t look nearly as cool as the BMW C1, but then again we can’t buy a BMW C1 here, so that’s moot.
