Kymco giving away Amerivespa trips

Amerivespa 2006 is, happily, shaping up to be quite the pan-scooter event. Starting life as the national Vespa rally combined with Denver’s legendary Mile High Mayhem rally, it also now encompasses this year’s Lambretta Jamboree and Stellabration. Main sponsor Kymco is giving away vacation packages to the Rally to ten lucky winners.

They want you to think that, but if you read the small print:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Individuals not wishing to purchase a KYMCO scooter can also enter by sending a written request for a KYMCO USA 2006 Amerivespa Scooter Rally Trip Giveaway Validation Code Number. All requests must be postmarked between April 1, 2006 and June 30, 2006 and mailed to: KYMCO USA, Attn.: 2006 Amerivespa Scooter Rally Trip Giveaway, 1770 Campton Road, Inman, SC 29349. A self addressed, postage paid envelope must also be included to receive a Validation Code Number. One entry per household.

Most contests by law need to have a “No Purchase Necessary” option. I don’t know how good of a chance you have of winning that way, and you have to jump some hoops, but maybe it’s worth a try…
