Last spring I posted that Steve Williams of Scooter in the Sticks had decided to stop publishing his blog. Back then I pulled the site from my RSS feed and hadn’t checked it for months. Today I was surprised to find Steve’s retirement was apparently short-lived, and he’s been posting regularly to the site for months. It’s embarassing how long it took me to notice, but I’m happy to see him back, and happy we have lots of his new posts to read through.

The reason you didn’t notice me is because I am running the super-quiet, kidney shaped, no mojo factory exhaust system on the GTS. I am a silent blogger/rider.

Dang, Steve — I’m glad I got this reminder. I’ve had you linked since Day One on my scooter blog, but I haven’t visited in a while. Love those photos!

Once you’ve caught the scooter fever, you simply can’t stay away. Maybe it was necessary for him to walk away from it a bit, but am I glad that Mr. Williams has decided to continue on as we have been totally fascinated by his writing.
Jeff: Thanks for the kind words about the pictures. I still enjoy making them and will enjoy it more once the weather gets warmer. A lot of people went away when I went into my semi-retirement.
rakuchina: Thanks for the comments about the writing. Glad someone finds some use in my streams of consciousness. It was necessary for me to take a walk away from Scooter in the Sticks last spring. I had to sort out some things but after I did I could see what I got out of the blog.
