2sb quarterly report

Zombiebill.jpgChanges are afoot at 2sb, we’ve streamlined the code to be faster and more compliant with alternative browsers, and we’re adding some new features and better organizing the archives. These changes will be happening in the next week or two, so you may notice some differences or temporarily missing links. We’re also pleased to announce a new addition to our staff, Bill Keenan (left) has been named to head up our Zombie Affairs department, he will handle any situations involving zombies as they relate to scooters. Welcome him to our staff!

The shot heard ’round Ukranian Village

The Strike is playing tonight at the Empty Bottle, they’ve been on hiatus for a while, and this is one of their first shows since the break. The Strike was one of the best bands around a few years ago, and we’re really happy to see them back. If you like the Clash and Stiff Little Fingers, and you don’t like George W. Bush, do yourself a big favor and check them out. Their old neighbors and frequent tour-mates Dillinger Four are also playing.

Slaughterhouse Kickoff party

You know what’s scary? Summer’s almost over and Slaughterhouse 9 is just a few weeks away! Come early, because 2strokeBuzz is hosting the kickoff party on Thursday, August 28 at Hogs and Honeys, with $1 beers and FREE rides on the mechanical bull, followed by Planet Earth, the weekly new wave nite at Neo, Chicago’s oldest nightclub. We’ll have 2sb stuff to give away in a free raffle! Don’t be fooled by other clubs claiming to sponsor this event! I planned it all by myself! Heh heh. So dress up in your finest, um, new wave cowboy gear, and join us! Here’s the flyer that I made by myself: front | back

So I thought it might be a good idea to compile these thoughts into one post and share them with everyone, because what I say is so important. Ha!
