I like to make fun of the show (like most things), just because it’s usually pretty similar year-to-year, the motorcycle world is like ten years behind regular popular culture (tribal graphics are huge this year!) and any “new” bike there has usually been talked to death on the internet since EICMA in November. But truth be told, it’s really a pretty good time, especially if you’ve never been before, and now it’s $2 cheaper. Plus this year, they’ve started a “scooter pavillion,” which is at least a year too late, but at least they’re aiming outside their usual target market of suburban 48-year-olds who will never pull the trigger and buy that metric cruiser. Hey, also Scoot! Magazine will be there, they’re good folks, tell them 2strokebuzz sent you for a free Josh hug. Get your friends/club together and make an event out of it, the Vegas rally is proof that you can have fun anywhere if there are enough scooterists around.
